The morning started early ! Were not yet 10am we had the first runners registered for the event ! Assemble the stall with posters of Marathon and promotional material and in just over 15min. a large group of runners had already made an appearance ! Shortly before the start of warm-ups came to James , our youngest runner !

After the presentation of the corresponding Marisa RunninGirls alma mater , we have to turn to Jaime and a server, Joan , the promoters of 360runningBarcelona . We start with a gentle jog and move to a small stretch to start the machine ! Come on ! Montjuïc awaits us !

Leaving behind the magnificent view of the harbor there from the gardens of Miramar, starting point of the route , climbing Avenida Miramar. A slight ascent brings us to the swimming pools of Montjuïc, where those jumpers trampoline , these World Swimming Championships in Barcelona in 2013 , had been with the silhouette of the Holy Family in the background ! We walk past the Miró Foundation , the group almost together , but the first piece of uphill journey makes some stay back a little longer .

We entered at the Laribal Gardens and down to touch the Font del Gat . In front of the Greek Theatre will regroup to enter a wooded area , unknown to most, but it keeps a history significant for what we like to run it : there spent the participants in the Barcelona Olympics marathon ‘ 92 . Hence, then, we can still see fragments of a blue stripe painted on the floor ! We got to ride Jean Forestier , the designer of these magnificent gardens , and pass one of the most beautiful places of the city: the MNAC on the left with a stunning waterfall in front of us , and Barcelona , Carles sources Bohigas and columns of Puig other ! Hence we seek a long flight of stairs , very impressive , both in sight and legs ! The group of riders as we split into small cliques , each at their own pace ! Once up the second flight of stairs we regroup a bit, regain air, and then the odd smile of complicity , we continue our trip to fetch it , the Olympic ring .

We went to the Olympic Ring very happy ! This is a beautiful place to run, very wide and that makes us feel Olympians for a moment ! The imposing tower of Communications and the Palau Sant Jordi encourage us to keep going on! We passed under the Lluis Companys stadium and a runner says he would to run in!

We run down the Estadi Avenue and could see the cauldron where the Olympic flame burn during the Olympic Games in Barcelona. We pass in front of the Olympic and Sports Museum and run down the last mile before reaching our destination. In Miramar Gardens we have our imaginary finish line, and where Clara and Mireia were waiting us!

We drank Isostar and took some energy bars  and after stretching  we made a draw for some fantastic reflectors , courtesy of Benito Sports.
