There are differents ways to arrive at the Antoni Gaudi’s Park Güell. Here is some of them. Let us know if you have any dobut or if you have another suggestion.
– By Metro: You can take L3-Green Line of Metro. Get off in Vallcarca Station or Lesseps Station. From this point, there is a bit of walk and some trams are steep. From Vallcarca Station there are scalators closer than Lesseps station.
There is also the Carmel Station in L5-Blue Station but the road from the Llobregos street is very steep. You can combine the ticket (T-10 or Day Pass) and taking the 86 bus in Conca de Tremp street.
– By bus: the 24 line from the city center stops at the main entrance of the Park Güell. And also the H6, 34, 92 and 116 lines.
The Barcelona Bus Turistic and the Barcelona City Tour (more expensive than public transport, of course) have a stop in Travessera de Dalt, near the Park Güell.
– By taxi: A taxi from Plaça Catalunya is suposed to cost between 10 and 15 Euros. More money than this, might be expensive.
– Running, walking..: For us is always the better option but note that Park Güell is just at the top of the Carmel mountain. The ramp from the center of the city is really hard so you can consider to go by public transport and the descend running or walking from the Park Güell to the center of the city which is sea level.
