We just released our new running tour in Barcelona. This is a different view of the city, and set in the heart of the Collserola Park, an urban forest just 15 minutes from the center of the ciurdad.
We propose a new trail path in which we discover the Masies of Collserola, fountains, roads and a sample of Mediterranean nature.

This weekend 360RunningBarcelona have run the Marathon de Collserola, a vital event to your calendar if you’re like the trail running! And no one would say that you are running close to Barcelona if you dare to wander to Collserola. At 8 am, and after an emotional minute’s silence in memory of runner Teresa Farriol (who died during this year’s Wind Horse), the marathon starts. The first ramp is a prelude to what will comes! We walked up to the first hill and reached into the middle of the mountain rage of Collserola.
We run a road up to the first aid station where we drink some water. So we did very fast the first 18 kilometers, but here we expect a rise in the hills of Can Blasco, most of which we walk. Once up, we met a small group of runners with will go to up to the end of the race. Now we star a technical descent where we run very quick..
The climb to the pass Vinaxa next Tibidabo is tough. The first half we had to walk, and then decides to run even though there are still 15 kilometers to the finish line. But it was good, and the forces still with us. The descent to San Medir is long. We are right to do the final ascension, but the legs are tired. The stretch of Carretera de les Aigües is very heavy. My friend Diego, from corredors.cat, let me back a few metres, I can not follow him. We reach the final descend, which leads directly to the Velodrome d’Horta, start and final point of this exciting race. Shot down. I like the descentes, so I can get Diego and the other runners. Now I amb happy to finish my first mountain marathon! And a final surprise: Clara was there waiting and cheering as the first 360°RunningBarcelona fan!

360ºRunningBarcelona has been working hard last months preparing our next goal: the marathon and half marathon of Collserola, once again organized by the UEC Horta. Joan will participate in the marathon and Jaume, recently recovered from an injury, will run the half marathon. There have been months of hard training around Collserola to complete our training achieve our goal. We are now wainting for this Sunday, October 7 to put on our shoes and star running. Many of the routes we run in Collserola, are part of the routes that 360RunningBarcelona offer you to discover a different city, Barcelona seen from another perspective, and practicing your favorite sport. Next week, race chronicle!
