In 360runningbarcelona continue training to run the 89th edition of the Jean Bouin, which takes place in Barcelona on 18 November.

Today we did a long run, about 17 kilometers crossing the seafront of Barcelona.

From Torre Agbar to Barceloneta, we “walked” all city beaches until the W Hotel, where we turned around and going along the Passeig Joan de Borbó back home.

A soft path, with 5’20 “at km average to keep the form.

This is a very nice route, but a bit bored at the beginning, except, of course, the Agbar Tower. But once we get the Forum of Cultures the atmosphere changes: the fresh sea invades us, people walking, running, cycling! What a pleasure running by the sea! We run along all Barcelona beaches: Llevant, Nova Mar Bella, Bella Mar, Bogatell, Nova Icaria, Olympic Port, Barceloneta and San Sebastian!

Here we find several notable buildings, including the building of the Forum, the Biomedical Research Park, the spectacular building of Gas Natural, the Mapfre Tower and Hotel Arts, or Frank Gehry’s fish sculpture.

Back now, we have passed through the Estació de França train station, and from there we cross the Parc de la Ciutadella, and the Passeig Sant Joan to get home with our weekend homework done!
