Collserola borders Barcelona and eight other municipalities and covers an area of over 10,000 hectares. It is a real green lung of the metropolitan area of Barcelona and is considered one of the largest urban parks in Europe. Since 2010 is a Natural Park recognized by the Generalitat de Catalunya.
